- Tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable for any reason that may halt operation, including; inclement weather such as storms, hail and high winds, other reasons beyond our control such as flood, fire or failure/delays in transportation, coinciding event cancellation (e.g. city fireworks displays or festival activities) or the advice of local authorities. The Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane operates in all weather conditions except during electrical storms, hail-storms and very high winds. On the rare occasion we need to cancel or move a booked ticket we reserve the right to decide whether ticket holders will be reissued tickets for use at a future date or time.
- After boarding the ride tickets are no longer refundable.
- Lost, damaged or stolen tickets or personal property will not be replaced or reimbursed.
- VIP, Cupid’s and Birthday Experiences must be pre-booked – please call our office on 0738443464 or email info@thewheelofbrisbane.com.au
- All guests must adhere to all Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane terms and conditions and comply with all alcohol, smoking and behavioural laws while on site.
- Tickets are valid during our opening hours EXCEPT during special events e.g. Riverfire, New Year’s Eve and other events as outlined on our website
- The Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane are subject to availability and opening dates/times.
- Ticket prices are subject to change without prior notification.
- Gift certificates cannot be refunded or replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
- Operational hours are subject to change without notice and may be reduced or extended due to weather, operational requirements or at the discretion of the Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane Management Team
- The Wheel of Brisbane holds no responsibility over 3rd party tickets or packages. Should you have any problems with these you will have to contact the respective party.
- The Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane Management Team will endeavour to ensure that the premises is open to guests during usual advertised opening hours. The Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane team reserves the right to close the entire site or part of the site at any time.
- No umbrellas, walking aids or large bags are allowed inside the gondolas. Small bags may be taken on board and stored under the seat.
- Gondolas have a maximum capacity of 6 adults (12 years and over) and 2 children 11 years and under including infants.
- Infringement on any of the Gondola rules may result in your expulsion from our site.
- The Channel Seven Wheel of Brisbane Management Team has the right to eject you from the site for any disorderly behaviour.
- The Wheel of Brisbane is a licensed venue and does not allow BYO food or drink to be consumed within our premise.
Cybersecurity and Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable precautions to ensure the security of our digital platforms and the information provided by users. However, by using our website, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You do so at your own risk, particularly regarding data transmission over the internet;
- The Wheel of Brisbane shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, unauthorized access, system downtime, or data breach resulting from hacking, malware, or other malicious cyber activity, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law;
- In the event of a known cybersecurity incident that affects you, we will notify you in line with our obligations under the Australian Privacy Act and advise you on next steps.
Data Breach Notification and Cybersecurity
While we implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information, no digital platform is completely immune to malicious activity or data breaches. In the event of a cybersecurity incident or breach that may compromise your personal information:
- We will take immediate steps to assess, contain, and rectify the breach;
- Affected individuals will be notified as soon as practicable, as required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth);
- We will cooperate fully with relevant authorities, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC);
- We will provide guidance to affected individuals, including steps to protect themselves (e.g., resetting passwords or monitoring accounts);
- We do not accept liability for loss or damage suffered by users as a result of such incidents, except where such liability cannot be excluded under law.
